Genomic Resources Collection
The Genomic Resources Collection is the museum’s youngest but fastest-growing collection, with a strong regional focus. The collection includes tissue samples taken primarily from mammals and birds, but also some reptiles, amphibians, fish, and invertebrates. The majority of these samples are housed in ultracold (-80˚C) freezers for long-term viability.
